Node score

The Node Score within the GPUnet ecosystem is a metric designed to quantify the contribution and significance of a node based on the number of Node License Keys it holds. This score is a critical component of the overall reputation score, influencing the distribution of network rewards.

Calculation of Node Score

The Node Score is determined by the number of Node License Keys a participant possesses (Node Units or NU) multiplied by a Node multiplier (NM) based on the following;

Node Units (NU)Node Multiplier (NM)
1 - 41x
5 - 191.25x
20 - 491.5x
50 - 991.75x
100+2x

Final Node Score is calculated as below,

Node Score = NU x NM x NH

Example Scenarios:

Assuming a perfect Node Validator health ie NH = 1, the following cases illustrate what Rewards multiplier you get based on your Node Score;

Node Units (NU)Node Multiplier (NM)Node Score
11x1
51.25x6.25
151.25x18.75
201.5x30
451.5x67.5
501.75x87.5
801.75x140
1002x200
1152x230

Note, there is no upper limit on how many node keys a single wallet can own. Only limitation is during the node public sale where a wallet can mint upto 115 keys maximum, although the same wallet can acquire more keys as a KOL or as VC or secondary market.
